BOSU/Disc

image of people working out on bosu equipment.

A great way to both work on strengthening the core muscles that wrap around your waist and support your spine and improve your balance and coordination is with a new workout tool called a BOSU which stands for "both sides up." On one side it is a half of a balance ball on the other side it is a flat surface.

This is a great tool that allows you to complete a variety of different workouts. Inflatable discs or foam pads are another type of workout tool to exercise your nervous system and improve your balance and coordination. This is a great way to reduce your risk of injury as you age. Many age-related injuries are due to falls because of poor balance and coordination.

  • "I have only been to a chiropractor once in my life so moving to a new plan and having to find one was scary . Also my roommate hurt her back and she had never been to one . So we went here and the professional friendly environment was wonderful. I already feel better after one visit and I feel excited about continuing to improve my health and encouraged. I highly recommend these Dr’s and facility.
