Dr. David Duemling D.C., P.C., C.C.W.P.
Dr. David Duemling is a 1989 graduate of Western States Chiropractic College and has owned Family Chiropractic at NW Wellness Center since 1991.
Upon first meeting Dr. David, you will find yourself engaged and excited about your health potential, as he has a passion for educating and empowering his patients to take the steps necessary for wellness. Dr. David has an incredible ability to pass his positive energy and excitement on to educate and motivate his patients with each visit.
In May, 2008 Dr. David became a board certified Wellness Doctor (one of two in Oregon and the only Doctor in the Portland Metro area at that time) and teaches multiple classes throughout the months to transition his patients into a more healthy, congruent lifestyle for wellness. Classes range from the ever popular "Eat Well, Think Well, Move Well" basics to " Stretching and Strengthening", core stability, balance improvement, and cooking healthy and nutritious classics.
Dr. David also focuses on futhering his own eduction and development by attending monthly continuing educational opportunities to keep him abreast of every changing development in health care.
On top of being a great Chiropractor he walks his talk and is an avid outdoorsman, enjoying time with his wife, traveling, snow and water skiing, windsurfing, mountain biking, and tinkering with nearly anything mechanical.
Dr. David is involed in many community groups. In the past, he was co-president of the Oregon Chiropractic Association, has served as Vice President of the Oregon Doctors of Chiropractic, is a member of the Oregon Chiropractic Association, Chiropractic Leadership Alliance, International Chiropractic Association, and the Wilsonville Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. David was born and raised in the Bay Area of California. He moved to Lake Tahoe out of high school and resided there for 11 years working in the casino's during the night while being a ski instructor during the day. He graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in 1989 and has owned Famly Chiropractic since 1991. After graduation from Western State Chiropractic college he enjoyed participating in a multi disciplinary sports injury rehabilition center.
Even while on vacation he can't help doing what he loves-helping people! Here are some photos of Dr. David adjusting members of the Akha tribe in Thailand in a remote village outside of Chiang Rai in the Golden Triangle. The gentleman in the yellow shirt was the tribal leader.

Exercise Benefits
Weight bearing exercise tears down muscle so it can rebuild and become stronger. Weight lifting also builds bone, thereby offering a form of protection against osteoporosis.
Brisk movement, also known as aerobic exercise, gets the heart pumping, which aids circulation and keeps the body functioning at a healthy level.
The increased breathing rate that occurs with most exercise enhances the performance of your cells. They take in nutrients and expel toxins at a faster rate, improving their performance and subsequently your health.
Both brisk movement and weight lifting burn off calories, reducing weight and restoring it to its optimum level.
Stretching keeps your muscles flexible so you lower the risk of pulling or tearing them while performing an unusual movement.
The increased oxygen to your brain helps you stay focused and think more clearly, as well as helping reverse emotional conditions like anxiety and depression. The endorphins your body releases during exercises also help balance your emotional state.
