Introducing our team of massage therapists: Debbie Graham and Shawna Allen! Andrea Sodaro, our licensed Acupuncturist, also offers Tuina, chinese massage therapy, and acupressure. We offer a discount for your first massage so don't forget to mention it when you schedule.

Debbie

Debbie Graham has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 15 years and is now a  member of our team assisting the doctors in the role of licensed Chiropractic Assistant here at Family Chiropractic.  Her specialty is deep tissue massage, but she also offers injury recovery, prenatal, relaxation (Swedish) and geriatric massage.

Debbie loves bringing healing and relaxation to all of her clients. She believes that those who are open to touch are pleasantly surprised at how much massage can improve well-being.  She loves having the ability to bring bliss and recovery to people in pain.  It brings her great satisfaction to service clients and promote healing.

Debbie has spent some time in sunny California and is glad to be back home in Oregon.  While maintaining her private practice in previous years, she volunteered for the Visiting Nurses Association working on hospice patients and their families.  She has worked in hospitals, geriatric facilities in two states, and worked with pregnant and birthing mothers.

Move-It May!

Exercise Benefits

Weight bearing exercise tears down muscle so it can rebuild and become stronger. Weight lifting also builds bone, thereby offering a form of protection against osteoporosis.

Brisk movement, also known as aerobic exercise, gets the heart pumping, which aids circulation and keeps the body functioning at a healthy level.

The increased breathing rate that occurs with most exercise enhances the performance of your cells. They take in nutrients and expel toxins at a faster rate, improving their performance and subsequently your health.

Both brisk movement and weight lifting burn off calories, reducing weight and restoring it to its optimum level.

Stretching keeps your muscles flexible so you lower the risk of pulling or tearing them while performing an unusual movement.

The increased oxygen to your brain helps you stay focused and think more clearly, as well as helping reverse emotional conditions like anxiety and depression. The endorphins your body releases during exercises also help balance your emotional state.
